Enterprise Features
Identity and Access Management
- SAML Single Sign-On -- Authenticate through your identity provider. Supports Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, OneLogin, and any SAML 2.0 compliant IdP.
- SCIM Provisioning -- Automatically sync users and groups from your identity provider. Provision on hire, deprovision on departure.
With SAML SSO, your team authenticates through a centralized identity provider instead of managing individual Outpost passwords. SCIM v2 directory sync ensures your Outpost membership stays in lockstep with your IdP -- when someone joins or leaves your organization in Okta or Azure AD, Outpost reflects the change automatically.
Cloud Provisioning
Bring your own cloud account and run Outpost infrastructure inside your existing AWS, GCP, or Azure environment. Cloud provisioning gives you:
- Data residency — Keep data within specific regions to meet regulatory requirements.
- Cost control — Use your existing cloud commitments, reserved instances, and negotiated pricing.

Private VPC Deployment
Deploy Outpost inside a private VPC that is fully isolated from the public internet. Private VPC deployments are ideal for organizations that:
- Handle sensitive data subject to compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI-DSS).
- Require network-level isolation between development environments and the public internet.
- Need to peer with on-premise data centers or other private networks.
Your private VPC can be provisioned in any supported AWS region. Outpost manages the infrastructure while you retain full control over network policies.
